    Default Greetings from Canada

Been searching for a good wilderness survival/bushcraft forum for awhile. Most are too political, strictly catering to the hardcore preppers, others just don't have the traffic. I decided to join this one as it seems geared to what I'm looking for and seems very active.
I live in Ontario, Canada and have enjoyed the outdoors most of my life. We live in the city but we do own 100 acres of bush with a small cabin on it a couple hours north of where I live. I, along with my wife, am an avid hunter and fisherman. We also enjoy shooting 3D archery and compete in a number of shoots throughout the summer and fall. We're avid campers and canoeists and both enjoy practicing bushcraft skills on a recreational level. We have a nine year old son who's been raised with all this stuff and is becoming quite the little outdoorsman. I look forward to sharing what I know and more importantly learning from others here.

    Howdy welcome aboard
I Wonder Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, "I think I'll squeeze these dangly things here, and drink what ever comes out?"
