Big hike, 2 miles into the woods... Headed toward Fort Lewis Mtn.
2 Miles may not seam like much but our elevation changed greatly,
grade was at minimum 30 deg.

In the end, my legs are tired and my shoulders are sore..

Sig P250 in Hill People bag for trail protection

She started a fire using progressive kindeling, ignited by wetting pine needles with
bug spray and striking with ferro

    3 liters of water consumed

80 deg f. in the shade, lost some sweat on the trail

GPS was Garmin Dakota 20, worked great!

Cliff bar for snack, as usual

Time in woods: 2.5 hours of bliss with my best buddy!

Thanks punkin for a great father's day with you!

Your welcome Hunter63.. Im a firm believer that every trip to the field should have 1 fire starting exercise, its a critical skill.

She never knew that bug spray was flammable! Next trip, Ill take an MRE pack of peanut butter to mix it in... Last longer than a wax cotton ball!!

Good job ElevenBravo! My two favorite pictures is your daughter with her face paint. Just cause it is a cute picture. And the picture of you and her together.

Short hikes are fine. It ain't about the gear or the miles, its about the smiles. Just have a good time.

And it looks like mission accomplished!

The P250 is one of those modular pistols, right?
    What configuration did you choose?
    Nice trip.

Don't forget the coffee creamer....I love throwing that in the fire.

Oh yeah, picture 18 is a little disturbing!

I can't believe you just made me count pictures. You're despicable.

Picture 18 is of bigfoot... or tired old grunt, your pick! HA HA!

Yeah, P250 is modular, I should do a video on it soon... I do have two posted on my youtube account (see link in sig), but nothing
in depth on the 250 as of yet.

I bought it as a compact .40, I bought the 9mm full size kit and thats what I like the most, shoots like a dream and is affordable.
Shoots like a dream for *US* (daughter and I) because we learned to control the DAO trigger.

I have my P320 coming out of lay a way in two weeks, thats Sig's first striker fired weapon... It too is full size 9mm,
I only like full size, your best accuracy and control ability come from full size IMHO, and I have no problems at all
carrying concealed on a daily basis!

    Thats all for now...
