    Default Coastal Berries

I am currently preparing for my kayak trip down the West Coast.
I will be leaving Skagway (South-East Alaska) around mid-May, and should arrive on Vancouver Island a few months after.
Obviously, when planning such a long trip in such remotes places, you definitely want to learn about the freebies (some like to call them wild edibles) that one might meet along the way.
Anyone has any great knowledge to share about the berries, mushrooms, plants, and/or fishes that I could encounter along that coast in between May and August? I have a decent base of knowledge the mushrooms that might cross my path, but I don't know much about the rest.
Enlighten me, knowing this knowledge will be put to good use, dear wisdom-bearers!
