    Default hello in the camp

Greetings from green country, Okla., Yelnif here,

I'm 62 yrs young wishing I was 25 again. Been a beekeeper for the last 20+ years, not big- just enough for family and friends. Build cedar and canvas canoes using hand tools only. I enjoy going into the woods- sometimes with a weapon, wool blanket, and a small tarp shelter but often with just a good knife and a possibles pouch.
I consider myself somewhere between a novice/ intermediate as far as survival skills go. I have read and studied on many skills/ equipment but have not tried them all- again being 25 would be nice. I had a lot more energy then.
I'm not big on posting stuff just to get 'posting points', if I have a question or relevant comment then you may hear from me. I enjoy reading through old posts' and forums' as this is a wealth of information if one takes the time to research.
A very heartfelt "Thank You" to y'all for this opportunity. Lee...

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I have been back tracking a number of the forums here and I have to say that this is the best site out there. For hibervents, like myself, reading these old threads is like opening up a goldmine- some very knowledgeable folks here. yelnif...

If you want to see hypervents come by the F.A.R.T.s lodge the day after we serve Navy beans. We're easy to find. Just look for the Hazmat truck.
