Default Paracord - Where to buy it?

My 12y/o son has started a new business selling Paracord Keychains. I'm sure as he gains skill he'll branch out and make other things! as well.

Where is the best place to buy Paracord? I'm sure walmart is not the best lol.

I have not purchased from these guys but their prices are pretty good for commercial paracord and they have a variety of colors. Not sure if you want a full spool or not. They have various sized hanks in the left hand menu.

I get mine from www.campingsurvival.com . They sell 50, 100, 300, 1000 and 3000 ft hanks/rolls. Also have a lot of other cool gear. Not affiliated in any way with Camping Survival.

I posted a link Rick. If I should not have posted it, I apologize... :-)

I get mine from a knife dealer at a local fleamarket. Hobby Lobby has it, and so does Cablelas.

I tell you something, though... If your boy's hobby includes paracord, I don't care what it is, I'm probably gonna wanna buy it. I am literally obsessed with paracord. Just ask my wife!

I buy paracord at the local Hobby Lobby. It costs $8.99 for 100' but with a 40 percent off coupon that is printed in the newspaper each week it comes to $5.40. No shipping charges. Available for immediate use. Just the length I need for my zipper pulls and storage nets. Tony

I buy from a local store I found. They have great prices, and a huge selection...but don't sell online. You could always go to a manufacturer if you want really big orders.

Of course, amazon sells it. Buy enough for free shipping.

As for brands...I have had good success with Atwood. That doesn't mean other brands aren't good.

Thanks! He's doing well with his business. He's raising money for his birthday trip to MIT.

My local home depot sells 500' rolls as well as 100' hanks but you can get it by the foot if need be.

I did see some at the Army surplus store. Overseas we used it for boot laces. Only color was OD.

Military surplus store, 4.99 per 100'. Any color you want, if they don't have it, they'll order it for you.

I get mine at the local Military Surplus. He had 50 and 100 foot bundles and 500,1000 and 3000 foot spools. And in all colors. Even the orange, lime green, blue, red, ect. Even sells the buckles and latches commonly used. Not a friendly type of guy but fair prices.
