    Default Morning Paddle

Had no work today, so headed out to test the borrowed tandem kayak solo along with the cart I built for moving it around. Both worked well.

Nice pics Crash Dive....a few questions:-
    1. Are there crocs or alligators in the area?
    2. I like your kayak trolley...can it be taken apart? What size tires are you using? Is it pneumatic tires? Please send me a better picture to my email: tokwanang@gmail.com
    3. How far did you do?
    4. What is your kayak brand and model. I guess the material is PE..right?

Nice. Nothing like paddling casually to relax a guy. Good pics.

Are the woods in the pics "woods" or just swamp with trees? I mean, can you go to land and camp or no?
I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.

    1. gators
    2. This one does not come apart (intentionally), but could be modified easily with threaded pvc. Here is the video that I used to make it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95SaUIYTk1Y After the materials were assembled it took about 20 minutes to make.
    3. I paddled about an hour and a half upwind and then floated back.
    4. It's a Pelican Apex 129T that is on loan to me.

Woods. I think day use only. Quite a few hiking trails and a large wildlife management area. Here are some of the day hikes I have done in the area.

One more question Crash..how tall are you and how long is the kayak? I am almost 5'11" and I paddle a 12'9" kayak.

I'm 6' tall depending on which convenience store I'm leaving (yes, I stole that from comedian Ron White). The kayak is 12'9". The length isn't an issue (tandem or solo). It is pretty wide though and Mrs. Crash has a problem paddling. We're looking into various models to purchase. The Native Ultimate 15 Tandem has caught my eye - have to do some more looking.

Most excellent pics. Nice cart, too. I've been looking at one for the canoes.

Bought the wheels at Harbor Freight - everything else at Home Depot. Took about 20 minutes to put together.
