With 22 ammunition as scarce as it is people are buying what is available. I haven't picked up any of this lot.

    Thanks for the info.

    Would this be considered 22lr+p?

Is there such a thing as ++p?

Don't have those in my meager stock left. Could this be another government conspiracy to reduce 22LR even more? ("Did I say thaaaat?")

It is a bit hilarious to see this warning on the empty walmart ammo cabinet.

Saw this last month, 2 hours after buying a brick.

Glad it wasn't one of the hot lots.

OK, I’ve foraged until seeing double.
Can’t seem to find a thread talking about .22 ammo shortages.
Any real data why the shelves are still empty?
I mean, mfgs should have filled any upsurges in demands by now.

    Any straight poop?

Actually, there have been lot's of conversation on the subject. When folks stop hoarding everything they can get their hands on then supplies might catch up.

    Man, I hope yer right.
I’ve employed myself in the supply and demand arena for pushing 30 years, and have a hard time with the time element in regard to the empty shelves.

But I hope yer right, Rick……surely do.

I think that about sums it up. No shortage here in Canada, never has been one. Stores seem to get their stock same as always we just don't have the panic hoarding up here so there's no trouble keeping tbe shelves stocked.

I heard from an unreliable source that gun shops are money ahead to sell 22LR ammo on-line rather than sell it to their walk in customers. Again, to the ammo hoarders.

A year ago a local gun shop had 22LR, $44 per brick. Not any more, $8.50 per box of 50 rounds. My nephew bought 22LR for $40 per brick in Mountain Home Arkansas. I know of a remote gun shop in the boonies of Carrol County Illinois that has Remington 22 LR for $50 per brick. I avoid Remington 22 ammo, to many misfires.

Bought two boxes of 380 ammo for $18.50 per box at a local gun shop today. That shop had plenty of ammo but NO 22LR.
