I always wondered how to tell the difference between the male and female bees. Now I know.
Great Post Going to try it with some magnesim shavings in the cotton also.

FYI.....Source for Bees Wax.......Toilet ring, the cheap one doesn't even have a plastic piece inside to fool with....couple of bucks.
Last time I bought a block, was about 7 bucks a pound, (I think) at a Farmers Market.
Also for doing iron work, apply bees wax on hot metal will give it that "black" look.

From what I understand, they have been putting "other" stuff in toilet rings, so not pure beeswax.

"100% pure high-grade petroleum wax"
I'm not certain I appreciate the fact that it's 100% pure or that it's high grade. Either way, mind your own bees wax.

I used pure beeswax. 6 bucks a pound.
Would it not be cheaper to use steak? Just sayin.....
