    That guy was within that, closing on him and not complying.
    The cop could not retreat as fast as that guy could have charged at him at that distance.

    Not much else he could do. He tried to talk to the male but got no response. Then the male just kept advancing...... way faster than the cop could retreat.
    Unfortunately Suicide by Cop is becoming much more prevalent.
