I remember these from back in the 70s. Forgot all about them. Any local stores carrying them?

Kinda cool.... It kinda seems like a Bass Ackwards Zippo.

The Coghlan brand tinder kit uses that exact design in their emergency tinder kit. Except that in stead of the metal case, it's just a plastic block, just for using the fero rod and striker. Talk about lazy design ...

Last time I found them.... I bought a bunch of those on Amazon....Like 17 or so and gave them away as gifts.
Still need lighter fluid if you are gonna use the as a "match" strike it, the fuzz burns....but still works as a fire steel and striker.

I ordered one off their page. I figured for $2.95 what can go wrong. Then came the 4 hour advertisement for whatever they were selling. I've never seen a site run a commercial powerpoint that long. Needless to say I never saw the end of it.
