Default Need help with a para cord project

Kind of stuck on how to finish this. I'm trying to make a somewhat small pocket sized meteor/poi/meteor hammer made out of 2 ball bearings wrapped in paracord.

I wrapped them in a monkeys fist but there are still areas of bearing showing. Why? I redid using more wraps and it came out strange and unproportionate.

Also, what kind of braid could I use for the length in between them? Only two strands come out from the monkeys fist, any way to add one or two in, or use a knot to tie it to braided section? I'm thinking of a four strand round braid but don't how how I could attach it.

For a 2" ball I think you will need 10 to 12 passes. Kevin (a member here - aka paracordist) has some great tutorials - some on exactly what you are trying to accomplish. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyoLpz5IvtI

Thank you. That's exactly what I was lookin for. Really simple just add it and go

Only problem I see is when I get done doing the four strand round braid, how am I going to attach the next ball

Or. Thinking about it. I can take the two strands from opposing balls and lay them over each other for the braid. But then how do I terminate the ends near each ball....
