They were very lucky to survive! I've read half a dozen articles about the case, trying to get the gist of what happened. From all the reports they 1) took off without letting anyone know where they were going or when they were coming back, 2) had no food or water along, 3) took no winter clothing at all and 4) were doing "cookies" or "donuts" in the snow. Sounds like they were effing around and flipped their Jeep, stranding them with no food, water or warm clothes with a bunch of young kids in the car. I'm glad they survived but they sound like potential Darwin Award winners.
