Yes. I am looking forward to a traditional meal of macaroni and cheese with tuna and I'm going to lock myself in my apartment until Sunday morning and not come out unless it snows.

    Happy Thanksgiving
    Merry Christmas

And if you have a long weekend around Martin Luther King Day, may it be enjoyable, entertaining, and generally satisfying.
True enough, my final home is still out there, but this is most certainly my home range and I love it. I love every rock I fall off and tree I trip over. Even when I am close to dying from exhaustion, a beautiful sunset doesn't lose it's power to refresh and inspire me and that, in itself, is enough to save me sometimes.

3 chocolate pies, 2 banana cream pies, 3 pumpkin pies, two turkeys, dressing, cranberry sauce. Friends are bringing green bean casserole, home made yeast rolls, and wine.

Ooh. Neighbor brought over a big plate of traditional Thanksgiving goodies. I'm sure thankful for that.

I'm getting ready to move in mid-December and so I'm on cheap, minimal preparation rations for the duration. Since I'm moving in my van, I'm in the process of getting-rid and, so, all the perishables that I won't use and all the 1 year+ old stuff in the refrigerator are taking the trip out to the dumpster. I hope I never, ever have to do this again (alone, at least).

Moving sucks! But it's cool that you got to have some Thanksgiving treats, Wolf! I ended up stuffing myself with...well, stuffing! And turkey, taters and gravy, pie, etc.

I hope everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving!, I give thanks for my many friends on here, for my kids and grandkids, and my bf Steve. Ate a little too much yesterday buy it was all good, the BF helped every step of the way in preparing the meal, and had friends and family here most of the day. Then went to the BF's family homestead ( the home has been torn down now) for an impromptu wedding, Steves sister decided it was a good day to get married outside (it was 20 degrees and nearly dark,LOL) . Was an awesomely cold and short ceremony It was a good day!

LOL Nope, once bitten twice shy??? Both of us went through hell and back the first go round (you guys really have no idea how bad it was) we for now are content to know that neither of us are tied to the other by anything other than heart strings. Both of our ex's are remarried (mine is a "daddy" again ) much to our daughters chagrin his new wife is 2 years older than her...
