I'm attempting to restore a wetland near my house, and since I live in the Pacific Northwest, this means digging out a lot of Himalayan blackberry. The roots often include a red tuber about the size of a fingerling potato. So I'm wondering, could it be edible? It would be awesome if it was. I'm sure harvesting a lot of them!

I already know about eating the blackberries and making tea from the leaves.
