Well, Woodsman, we are now enjoying cheesecake. 1stimestar's birthday party at Howling Dog Saloon is tomorrow night...now, that should produce some real photos....I don't have to drive until Sunday morning, heading back to Girdwood, 400 miles away!

Today I took Carol out to Chena Hot Springs. It's about 60 miles out of Fairbanks (even farther from my house though as I live out the opposite side of town). Strangely enough, we didn't see any moose but I did see a big fluffy red fox. On the way home we stopped by my best friends' kennel, Muzzy's Place Sleddog Adventures. Came home and cooked dinner, yes I cooked on my birthday. Had a few beers with my friend Lori and ate cheesecake.

Thanks for posting. have always liked the history of Alaska. Also Sleddog dinner! That sounds GOOD... YummmmmYummmmm. Goes good with a seaweed salad... Never had sleddog, but can't be any dif then Korean dog.
