    Default Coconut Water

    Interesting article......

"During WWll, the Vietnam War and the Nigerian Civil War, when intravenous solutions ran in short supply, injured soldiers were given coconut water. A person can safely be given up to one-quarter to one-third of their body weight in coconut water intravenously ( Recio, P. M. “The Intravenous Use of Coconut Water.” Phillip J Pediatric: 1974; 30 (30).) Because of it’s sterility and composition, coconut water can safely be injected directly into the bloodstream without fear of damaging blood cells or inciting an allergic reaction."

Interesting as to all the other benefitsthat have been dicovered from coconut water. Wonder how before we see a rash of coconut health drinks and anti-aging creams. Thanks for the story.

Take a look in the beverage coolers in many convenience stores. They're already there.

And it's great stuff for ice cubes when you're making Pina Coladas with them bottled mixes they sell.

I don't get much further than the beer cooler and Red Bull

So which is better for a long life...a shot of whiskey a day or a shot of coconut water??

While it has been used as a plasma substitute that was only done because human plasma was not available. Your point is still valid however.

I'm pretty sure a shot of whiskey would require a shot of coconut water.
