Default Sad Note, Gunner my hunting partner has passed on.

With a quick moving infection, (2 weeks) a stay at the I.C.U doggie hospital, and sadness I have to say that another hunting partner, Gunner....has passed on 9-9-2013.

Losing a dog is tough. I have had many pets, but dogs bring pet to a whole different level. I understand what you are going through and please accept my condolences.

Awww, Hunter, I feel so bad for you. They're like a mix of kid and best friend all wrapped up in fur. If he could talk, he'd have told you that he was glad he adopted you when he was a puppy.

I think there is a special place in everyone heart for any pet....but with a hunting partner, that just lives to "fetch",...."any thing you want Dad", just makes it so much harder......like a good horse, they become part of you.....

Oh Hunter so very sorry. And my Moose looks just like your Gunther. She makes tinder for me too and jumps into our SUV to say, "hey let's get going to the BOL to play and have fun" like your Gunther in the boat.
So very tough. Hugs to you and the missus.

Hate it. Lost my lab about a month ago 9 years and then she was gone. Have not gotten a new one yet. Not over losing Sam yet. I am sorry for your loss. Better days ahead.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Dogs are unique in that, every day, they try their hardest to please, because they want to be your friend above all else.

Sorry to hear that Hunter. The only way to get over the loss of a good dog is to get another good dog!

Hunter sorry to hear about your dog. We had to put down our 15 yo golden probably 6 years ago. It still hurts to think about her. It does get better over time.
