I dislike Putin, don't trust him and think he's a thug.
But I can't find fault with anything he said. What's behind those words is open for debate but at face value they make sense.
At least we know what Putin's real agenda is. We can't say that for all of the other players.

To think that Russia and Syria will allow UN inspectors to disarm the chemical weapons stock piles scattered across Libya and be able to do so in a country embroiled in civil war is a pipe dream. You might as well call Ghost Busters.
B's right. He is a thug. His training was in the KGB and DDR, which was the most repressive organization under the USSR domain. He ordered Litveninko killed and Ukranian president Yushenko poisoned. Reporters have been mysteriously killed, his mistress arrested and he has at lest two love kids runnin' around. There is nothing about this guy I like. And to close his article with a religious reference is pretty mocking in my book.

Agreed Rick, he is a thug. NY Times should not have published it on 9/11. How stupid.
