Default Foraging group get togethers in southern CA?

I have a book on wild edibles, and a basic knowledge of what to do and not to do with various plants, (the not to do was learned the hard way).
Is there anyone in the southern CA area interested in a get together where we search out various plants for a meal, or two?

Tim- If you were in the northeast I think I could help. There are generally local naturalists who do walks all over. You may try your local library (sometimes mine hosts walks). Otherwise check with local parks or museums. I'm sure there are other places to look, but my brain is cloudy this am

Thanks. I have done some research, and there are a few survival groups in the area, (some are a little too scenario specific for me paramilitary types that go to extremes), but some are pretty good, just a few folks sharing some knowledge.
