Wish I had known more about Hope during my stints in Anchorage. I must have driven by the turn-off at least a dozen times on trips down the peninsula. If I get back up that way I want the nickel tour!

I've been here since Wednesday, ...worked the last four days in the Pond kitchen at Alyeska. This evening I went on a hike in the rain this evening, picking the last of the blueberries.
I can't believe how lush it is in these woods...all the ferns, moss, blueberry bushes, etc. Pretty nice
