I'm wanting to get a spoon knife and was wondering if anybody had a suggestion on what is a good brand. I'm wanting to carve a Kuksa, spoons, bowls, etc. Any recommendations?

I got the Mora and never had any problems with it. Same high carbon steel razor sharp...
I have the Mora as well. I like it.
I have a couple of handmade scoopers which I found in a box of old carving tools in my dad's shop when he passed. As his dad was both a blacksmith and a carver back in the early 1900's I guess that's where they came from. Never had seen them over the years so as I said, I'm guessing as to their source. I have used some of them and they work pretty good.
I also have a Mora that I like real well.

The consensus appears to be Mora, just so happens I was browsing through safezone yesterday and saw Rick carries some Mora spoon knives at a very reasonable price so I'll be placing an order there soon.
