    Default World Wide Hazards Map

This has been posted a couple of times in the past. However, we have quite a few new folks signed on so I thought I would post it again. I was downloading updated maps for electric transmission, rail lines and rivers in my state and happened to stumble upon it again.

Cool map! It should be useful in future travel plans.
True enough, my final home is still out there, but this is most certainly my home range and I love it. I love every rock I fall off and tree I trip over. Even when I am close to dying from exhaustion, a beautiful sunset doesn't lose it's power to refresh and inspire me and that, in itself, is enough to save me sometimes.

This is somewhat related to a hazards map, for those of you who travel internationally..... I have the latest mapping on worldwide kidnapping and the ranked countries associated with them if anyone is interested. You would be surprised how many folks just pick a spot then travel to without conducting due diligence. If you are interested shoot me a PM with your email address (the file is too big to upload here).
