    Default Land deal completed.

On May 1st, I received a letter form a guy I was buying a piece of land from on a land contract.
It said that we had concluded our deal, and the note was satisfied, no more payments required.

As I figured I had a year or so left.....I was kinda wondering what I should do?

Do I call him? (tried, phone... Not available).....so not wanting to get myself in trouble as his figures and mine matched up to date, but he was short about $1600 bucks?

Contacted our Ken (ken....empty your mail box), for some advice, got a link for a form and did contact a local lawyer guy, to handle the finial paper work and deed.

Sent him a letter asking what needed to be done to complete the deal by him or me....and received conformation from him that we were square....and will sign the quit claim deed.....and it will be all mine.

That means all of "The Place" is paid for.

Some time a gift does show up......Hooray!

Wonderful news! And yes, our outbuilding in WI is also called an AG building, not a pole barn for taxes

It's been a long journey.....but we had fun along the way, and did get educated in a LOT of different things....from finding, planning, learning what codes were, and the way the locals do things.

Started as 10 acre south facing hillside on a river.....and had to have an expensive drive way (farmer access road....a driveway would have been a lot more money)....just to get on the property....LOL

Lesson one, hire locally....they know the ropes, and need to money....
    Original place....used from about 1990 for fun....to 2005

Funny thing, I had those for a lot of years....waiting for a place to put them.....as well as a lot of old tools, churns, grinders, lanterns etc.

Always knew they would go somewhere, someday.....all part of the plan.....I love it when a plan comes together.

Frickin' sweet. Congrats Hunter. Enjoy your time there.

How do you keep a wood stove white?
I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.

Hunter, no ID number yet as we are not living there full time so no animals or garden yet. Love you home. We designed and had built our last solar home which was log also - northern white cedar. We too loved decorating it!
