    Default One-Man Submarine for $2,000

Now THIS is cool! Anyone here with submarine or tech-building experience?

"The submarine's body may be constructed from drainage pipes and the hatch from a recycled skylight, but according to its 18-year-old inventor, this single-person U-boat can plunge to a depth of 30 feet and has already completed three successful dives."

Very cool......That guy should go far.

Sure beats the upside down 30 gal oil drum, with concrete blocks as a ballast,....that we built as kids.
Air fro a compressor thru a fish tank regulator.

Didn't go anywhere, just kinda sat at the the bottom, so you could look around.

    Smart and brave kid.
I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.

    "Can you hear me?"
    "Just barely."
"Well, I'll be a little late for dinner."
    "Where are you?"
"By my calculations about 30 feet down on the bottom of the lake. You don't have a can of compressed air handy do you? Hello?"
