    So any one have and shoot a Kimber 1911 .45 APC?

    Seems I have one waiting on me when I get home....entered a raffle for a Ducks Unlimited Sponsers Dinner that I was unable to attend,..... but didn't matter if I was there or not.........Score!.

    Very nice. Kimber's are very tight. I don't own one but I've sold and shot quite a few.
    I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.

    My son shoots one.

    I reworked it for him inside and out after he broke it in, then broke it in again.

    I consider it as good as the commercial pre '70 Colt.

    You remember those, back when you could buy a Colt NIB for $150?
    If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?

    I remember them, couldn't afford on back then.....still I don't know if I could afford one......LOL

    Picked up the Kimber today.....and a box of ammo, the only way I could but 45 APC's......

    Looks like a museum.....hand guns and a display of a couple of boxes of ammo for each....Kinda a "remember when it was just on a shelf?"

    Need some range time now.
