    Default Quick question about packs...

Bug out bags, get home bags, all your misc bags. How often do you 'air' them out? I know a lot of you use items and switch out your items fairly regular, but of those that don't, and have a BOB or Just In Case pack, do you unpack and check your items? How often? We have widows here and I have no desire to bring one of those buggers along on a trip...

At a bare minimum, you should change out expired food and medications. That would give you a minimum of when to check.

I like to remember to unpack/check things every 3 months or so but don't always manage to.

I unpack the bag after every trip and repack it. Not a bug out bag, so much as a back woods bag. I just swap stuff that I don't use for stuff I think I might.

Be wary about anything you meet online Sourdough. Especially if they wind up having more than two legs!
