    Looks like a young curled/curly dock plant.

    Welcome to the forum, stick around and introduce your self. There are lots of great folks here with great knowledge, experience on many subjects that enjoy sharing.

    I agree that it looks like a curly Dock. There are many kinds of Rumex. I always recommend that the person asking for the plant Identification take the information given and do further research to be certain of the ID. CowGirl has some impressive knowledge but it is your job to confirm her ID as Curly dock because you have the plant and know your location. We can recommend plant guides if you would like.

    Definitely a Dock. I would gravitate more toward Bitter Dock than curly, given the red leaf stem.
