Default Duracell - Lasted 18½ Years

RELIABILITY! I had this Duracell in a small high intensity table lamp. It still worked late last year. It finally died in early January. I posted a pic of the battery on my Facebook page back then. To say the least, I was impressed. 18½ years beyond the "install by" date from any product is pretty darn good.

Hummm,..... I wonder if the Mini mag I dropped down inside a block wall in 2001 is still burning.....Was gonna fish it out with a magnet,...but it's aluminum!.......Had to see it down there burning for a couple of days...and just making me mad.

That is pretty good though...They don't make them like they used to

All Duracells are guaranteed to have a 10 year shelf life, but 18 is really strechin it. That is pretty amazing!
