Got Carried Away at the Gun Shop

I had me a nice afternoon today.

My gun shop buddy called me today to tell me that the 10 PRE-BAN (THEREFORE MASS COMPLIANT) 30 round AK-47 magazines (with written pre-ban documentation) I ordered had come in. Got 'em for $30.00 each, which is a helluva' lot cheaper than the few I've seen around here.

But while I was there.... as always, I picked up a few other little things I had no intention of buying.

Got me a brandy-new Mass Compliant Bushmaster AR-15 - (Carbon 15 “Flat-Top” Carbine). No rail, but it came with a red-dot laser. My price - $795.00. He got a shipment of 10 in yesterday. Mine was the 6th. that he sold.

Of course I needed some ammo, so I picked up 1,000 rounds of the only stuff he had in stock - .223 Federal Premium Law Enforcement 55 Grain Nosler Ballistic Tip. This was a BIG BIG gift.... $725.00

And since he had them in stock, I also picked up 1,000 rounds of TulAmmo 7.62x39 - 154 gr SP for $259.00.

I have the biggest smile on my face.....

And no, he didn't have any .22 at all. He got 1,000 rounds in late yesterday afternoon and it was gone by 9:30 this morning.
