Default The Road was up the Embankment

This makes no sense. 25-year-old Daniel Thompson told authorities he crashed his rental car when he skidded off a gravel road and down an embankment in a wooed area, and tried to get back to the main road by walking, only to get lost – surviving by eating pine nuts. Time to raise the flag.

His story didn't make any sense to me when I read it several days ago. I have deer hunted in that Cache Creek area and although I can see where one MIGHT get turned around for a night or so -- maybe -- I don't know how anyone could be lost up there for so many days.

Too many roads in many directions, people out and about, etc. And trying to harvest enough pine nuts for that time would be one Helluva chore, nearly impossible, in my opinion.

    Just my thoughts on it.
