Default A Man Worthy of RESPECT.

Here's a guy I really respect. I can't ever imagine him saying he "leads from behind" like others I've read about.

Army Amputee Completes Air Assault School

“Right now, I am a platoon sergeant,” Robinson told reporters after graduating. “I have roughly 30 men in my platoon. As a leader, I didn’t want to tell my soldiers that they needed to go to air assault school, if I am not air assault qualified.”

Hopefully they will fast track him to CSM.

    Why?

CSM's gotta play politics. PSG's have more important things to do.
I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.

Winter: You have that right! I wanted to stay a Company Commander forever (oh and still get pay raises of course). When the AAS first started, I commanded the rigger company down the road from them. The amputees that went before him and remained in high speed units would be proud; Roy Boatman, Carlos Parker, et al (VN amputees who not only remained on active duty but went on to finish thier careers in Special Forces).
