    Default Hello from Mesa Arizona

Hi Folks, my name is Tom and I'm new to this site. I live in Mesa, AZ for most of my life, spent 7 years in the military. I'm a construction estimator and project manager along with resident office monkey. I'm a single dad with 5 amazing kids that are all almost grown adults.

I have been trained in desert survival, cold weather as well as jungle survival and I absolutely enjoy being outside.

I love cooking and now want to develop my knowledge of edible desert plants and learn to cook them.
