    Default brain tanning buff skin

it's my first ever post to you all .i had purchased a 90x70" buff skin and started tanning it .needless to say, i was unprepared (understatment)for this task.didnt have the right knives ,tools anything .finally got it trimmed down ,fleshed and racked.the skin is very thick and had a lot of fat tissue and membrane on it .used a mixture of 5lbs liver, chicken fat w/water and mayo.so hopefully i'm on the right track.still have to add more mixture to it and scrape and cable it to see if i'm on the right track . any advise?

Anthony - Welcome to the forum. Skip on over to the introduction section and tells us a little about yourself.

Do a search for tanning. There are a number of posts and I'm sure, with the many experienced folks on here, you'll get some good advice.
