    Default Blanket back pack....vid

    Came across this....one of the best examples of a blank pack in a vid I think I'ver ever seen.

    I can recall a discussion on this a while back....but can't seem to find it....as well a using a blanket as a coat.....

    I don't remember if that was my thread or not, I slept since then.

    Besides, most folk claim I do not know what I am talking about when I am talking about it!

    I do know that that video is a direct rip off of Mark Baker's Pioneer Series videos and articles from The Muzzleloader magazine, right down to the name of "Blanket Tech".

    Making that bedroll is in his first Video from back around 1995. It is also featured in A Pilgrim's Journey, volume 1

    A carry roll like that is properly called a "budget", the tie strings are called hoppis straps and the single line used for carry is a thump line. Lewis and Clark included these fixin's in the inventory for their expidition.

    That my be true....but as I haven't found any of those vids or articles before this....I guess these will have to do.......But will look them up, Thanks

    Yep, back before U-tube was invented we paid for our videos and got info from folks that knew what they were doing.
