Default do i have enough?, or do i need more?

i am going to take up trapping this next season, i used to go with friends years ago but will try it on my own this season. fur prices will help put a little extra cash in my pocket and i'll get good exercise. right now i have 5 #1 foot hold, 4 #2 foothold, and 9 110 connibear. a friend of mine recommended i get these as well 4 #3 foothold, and 2 or 3 #220 connibear. what do ya'll think? thanks for any help.

Where are you trapping? How long is your trap line? How are you accessing it? How often will you be checking it? What/how many do you want to get?
Why do I live in Alaska? Because I can.

i'm in kentucky, i'll have axcess to about 50-75 acres of wooded area with small streams. i'll be walking to it as it borders my property. i'll check it everyday as required by ky. law. i'm just starting but want the right traps for the animals in my area. which are opossums, coons, foxes, coyote's, minks, weasels, rabbits, squirrels, bobcats, and skunks. thanks

I am not a trapped, and although I hung around with several over the years, their trap lines were miles long and they used a lot of traps.

That said the area you have laid out, sound like your total 24(?) seems enough....but defer to anyone more knowledge.

How is the market these days?....a couple of guys I know only kept going to maintain their area, and not lose it...and just about broke even.

Any money ahead they earned was trapping nuisance animals.

Supposed to be some one working on the beavers on my property, although I haven't heard anything.

I tried beaver once, it tasted like steak, was very good!

Yes it was. Sorry I forgot to quote your post. I haven't tried any of them (or beaver for that matter). Looking forward to your review.

One thing with beavers is that you have to watch out for your can openers. Watch the whole video to get the reference, but pay attention to minute 8:30, 18:15, 29:23, 30:59, and 35:25 to the end.

I think somebody posted that a few years back. I now have wasted 1 hour, 15 minutes and 16 seconds of my life watching it twice.

I hope that it was a gag. Some of the finer moments.....
....the way he carries his knife
....the way he uses his axe
    ....abducted by aliens
    ....sexually molested by bigfoot
....his knife work out routine ---> sort of reminded me of.....
