Nice. I've never seen that filework pattern before.
I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.

That is a fantastic looking knife. What I'd be interested in knowing, is how do you make the file work look like its even with the scales? Did you fill in the file work with black epoxy or am I just not seeing the depth of it?

    That's exactly what I did.

That is real elegant and sleek. You do amazing work. Yeah I haven't seen that file work before either. You are an inspiration friend.

Thanks, the knife design I put together from several knives I liked parts of, so as far as I know that's an original, but the file work is not my creation I found it surfing the Internet, now it was just a picture so It didn't turn out exactly like the pic but the idea was there. To keep it real I think it would be hard to come up with something that has never been done before if you know what I mean.

Just heard from the guy that ended up with this knife, he can't say enough good about it and believe it or not, that is worth a lot to me, that's what keeps me making them. I have never really made any real money selling knives I just about break even, well I put all the money back into supplies and new tools, I just dropped 1000 on new tools this week, that may not seam like a lot of money to you guys but for me it was painful. My plan for the last year of so is to build up a good knife shop without borrowing any money or using the family account. I'm on the way today for leather supplies and believe me that is expensive also, I found some really good quality leather at Jantz supply actually better than I can get at Tandy's so I have been getting it from there, its a little more but dang it's top quality.
