Any of you guys ever owned a pistol that hurt you (recoil) every time you pulled the trigger?
But it was ideal in every other way so you used it anyway!

If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?
Not yet....
Ummm....kind-of sorta. I have, ur uh, had..a CZ-52 that has, I mean had, bad trigger slap. I've read that there is a cure, but I haven't messed with it, because I don't....didn't shoot it very much.
I used to think that the .44mag S&W mountain gun, that I had before the canoe accident, was a little harsh with full magnum loads. It wasn't really all that bad, but it is....was a lot more fun to shoot with cowboy loads. (I looked it up, one time. The .44 cowboy loads had almost the same ballistics as a .45 acp. Not bad, in my book.)

The Cobrey derringer with .410 'home protection loads (3 -000 balls), isn't real fun, course it doesn't have much to hang on to.....

Yeah. .357 and above unless it's mounted on tracks. I know, I'm a pansy.

"Holy Christmas that hurt. Jeepers. My hand's throbbin'. Give it back."
"I thought you said it hurt?"
"Yeah, but I didn't say it wasn't fun did I?"
Cough! Sputter!
"Want another?"
Clears throat. "Sure. That was smooth." (cough)

Yeah, a 2 inch S&W 357 with Buffalo Bore hot 125 gr JHP loads, a Ruger Red Hawk in .454 Casuall and a Smith & Wesson Model 29 44 Mag. The 41 Mag is the upper limit of my recoil tollerance in a hand gun. As I get older Arthur- itis is taking its toll!.
I once had a PA-63 in 9mm Makarov. One or two mags was good enough for me at the range. Great reliable and inexpensive gun, but the design and chambering made it feel a bit sharp in the wrist. I prefer .357 recoil over it.

Ruger 10/22.
No. I actually haven't even shot a gun that hurt, let alone own one.
