    Default Why An Imiganary Senerio

All you writers want some survival senerio subject matter to work with,

How about a small east coast town that gets distroyed by the "prefect storm" and 3 months latter is hit by the "world's greatesat blizzard"?

    Welcome to the Jersey Shore.

No, if Asteroid 2012 DA14 will veer off course just a smidgen and land in Grover's Mill right next to where those Martians landed in 1938, why, we've got us a story!!!

    Hey!

If Stephen King can make millions writting about getting trapped in a car by a dog, or being handcuffed to a bed, this is plenty to work with.

That's it--Gerald's Game--masterfully written...pure psychological drama, no bells and whistles!
And now, get this: Under The Dome (great book, btw) is being made into a 13 part series directed by S. Spileberg!

Started off with the "Gunslinger, and the Dark tower".....but then it was a year or two, before the next one.

Thing is a lot of his books reference earlier works....(by design or a hey it would be cool of...)so a reading order is best....
Here is one I stole from a S.King forum a while back.....would have to look up a source.

I'm thinking we really got off point on this thread.....LOL
    Sorry ya'll.......

    1. The Stand Uncut
    2. Eyes Of The Dragon
    3. The Talisman
    4. The Gunslinger Revised
    5. The Drawing Of The Three
    6. IT
    7. The Waste Lands
    8. The Mist (adds a dimension to W&G's thinny)
    9. Wizard And Glass
    10. Insomnia
    11. Hearts In Atlantis
    12. Black House
    13. Bag Of Bones
    14. 'Salem's Lot
    15. Wolves Of The Calla
    16. Song Of Susannah
    17. The Dark Tower

I can say that reading at 1:00 am (after second shift) with " Dark Side of the Moon,(Pink Floyd) on the headphone, beats the movies/vid's, hands down......let that head work.

Is this when you were handcuffed to a bed while your wife flew out to stay with her parents?
I'd love to hear more about that.

Somewhere along the way Blaine became a pain and I stopped reading fiction. The Talisman was supposed to be a movie by now!
