    Thanks all for the compliments here are some better photos...so this was my second attempt at san mai and I'm not sure what it is I'm doing but I'm not getting an even line on each side. You can see what I'm talking about in these photos.

    Thanks Skinner! I love cocobolo wood it's a great wood to work with...so dense that when you buff it...its almost like plastic.
