    Its a Mora design knife and a ferro rod .
    I Wonder Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, "I think I'll squeeze these dangly things here, and drink what ever comes out?"

    Now that I've looked it up.....

    It's a Mora Knife with a fire steel. While I have used several models of Mora and the Light My Fire fire steels and like them both - the price ranges I saw for the combination were a bit too high IMO. http://www.ems.com/product/index.jsp...FQsGnQodtgMA1w

    I looked it up as well.....I would have thought the OP, who brought it up would have provided at least a site, or a pic.......?

    Yeah, I like Mora's but sorta go with the $10 -$20 buck verities.

    It's a knife. And a fire steel. If you need one of each, maybe that's the way to go.

    It looks good and is certainly trendy and looks "survival". One improvement might be some kind of pouch or pocket to hold tinder, perhaps cotton balls with petroleum jelly.
