With restriction to 10 shot magazines almost a certainty, will anyone switch from 9mm to .40 or .45 due to reduced number of rounds.
I am not talking about a 10 to 7 swap as would be expected in the 1911. I am talking 10/9mm for 10/.40 or.45.

If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?
Switch? Nah. Already covered.
I may rethink my "comfortable amount of ammo" for my lever-guns.
Instead of "plenty", I may up my thinking to "plenty X 2".

My philosophy has generally been "a rifle kills anything just as dead as a pistol does", but in all seriousness, I'll probably just buy pistols in all three, once I have the money (I only own long-guns currently)
I think that a weapon that can use multiple calibers, such as a Glock with a conversion barrel, is desirable because of potential shortages of one caliber while another is readily available. A magazine limit simply requires more magazines.
No cal swaps for me, I'll just plugem twice, or use my tactical .22
No swaping here, have 45's, an old Colt 380 fm my Grandfather with plenty of mags for the 1911, along with quite a lot of ammo. Fm another thread here at last inventory several years ago I had some where around 285 lbs of lead ingots with a lot of other componets. At my age everything I have won't do me much good as I can't move that fast anymore, it will all go to my son and SIL's.

Every time an older person dies, its like burning a full set of encyclopedias that will never be published again. So, if you ever want to learn more of anything, just find a old tradesman and hang out with him and then when he passes on, not the full set will burn, you'll have parts of it to pass on to others.
