    Default Hello from north Texas

    Hello Everyone
I'm 50 years old done a little bit of various outdoor activities. Sailed and kyacked with my family as a kid. Got into horse my first job away from home was as a buckaroo in northern Nevada. Spent several years working on variou ranches. Joined the army served with 2nd Ranger battalion and as instructor at 7th ID taught a short survival course among other things. Walked the pacific crest national scenic trail from end to end summer after I ets'ed. Got back into horse trained for a couple of years then worked as a packer and hunting guide and fishing guide floating portions of the snake and green river. Started my own horse training business which morphed into horseshoeing which is what I currently do.
Been into black powder and modern firearms shooting since childhood. Done the whole mountain man primitive camping and hunting thing and get into the woods as often as possible.
Have enjoyed cruising the site and hope I can make so valuable contributions to the discussions.
