    Nice, that blade finish looks awesome.
    I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.

    Ya got me...From the tile, I thought this was going to be a news-thread about the Supreme Court! HA!

    These are beautiful blades. Can you share any info on how you make that frosty finish? Can you describe the grind of the edge?

    Thanks. Glad you like them. The O1 steel finish is blued and etched using bluing solution and acid. The bevels are all 12.5 degree/side saber (aka scandi).

    Knife making is one of those things I'd LOVE to learn how to do but don't have a clue as to where to start. Any good books you'd suggest?

    There's alot of People Here That Can Help you Get Started .When I Started I Was Hitting Up Crash for Infor When I Needed It And Watched alot of You Tube Vids to Understand What I Needed Also I Have Found Some Books In PDA format that Helped .
