So I bought some..... 20 years ago and I haven't had need to discharge them, they expired in 1998 and 1999, any thoughts about long term viability? They have been in a ziploc bag in reasonable ambient temps for the long haul. 101_5244.JPG

Do you really want to face down a grizzly bear with a device that expired 15 years ago?
I would want fresh ammo, not just fresh bear bangers!

If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?
Personally, if I were going to rely on them at some point I'd want to know for sure. I would test at least one of each.
The bear bangers are one hell of a distraction tool.

Buy new ones, play with the old ones.....otherwise you will just wonder.
