Default Corn chips as fire starters.....

    Came across this today....

No, you can't rub them together,..... No they won't catch a spark, ...No you can't get a spark by striking one with your knife.....But they do burn like crazy.....LOL
Frito's, Doritos, .....No word on which flavored work better....But the "Hot" BBQ should self combust.....

Will they start when hitting them with sparks from a fire steel? Do they work better with bean dip?

Any potato chip (most things with that much fat for that matter) will burn for a good deal of time. I have tried dorritos and ruffles and some of them fancy crackers.

Corn chips burn very well. All chips do. For some reason my brother & I had some Pringles with us on a camping trip a few years ago and they burned like gasoline!

Another new reason NOT to eat Pringles lol.
Frito's Scoops are my go-to fire-starter corn chip of choice.
