We got back late from my younger step son's last night so late I did check in and made one short post and off to bed. I spent the day cooking as did my DIL. I fixed a 20Lb turkey, my sweet potatoe casorole, a cherry pie and two pumpkin pies. I was exhausted before we even left. She had mashed white potatoes, fresh green beans, fresh cranberries, home made rolls and more that I can't remember. It was all delicious, ate the most that I have since before my surgery.

Every time an older person dies, its like burning a full set of encyclopedias that will never be published again. So, if you ever want to learn more of anything, just find a old tradesman and hang out with him and then when he passes on, not the full set will burn, you'll have parts of it to pass on to others.
