    Default Happy Thanksgiving to all

It is the dawn of this years Thanksgiving Day celebration here in the U.S.A. . A time when family and friends get together, sharing of memories , thanks and good food. I always take some time before the festivities start to think back over the year. Contemplating, the blessing, the loss of people dear to me, the people I have that are dear to me and of course this year , my families and neighbors good fortune , getting through the big storm a few weeks ago relatively unscathed. I do enjoy the belly busting feast that will be served later, shared with my friends and neighbors, but I do try to make sure the little people in my life understand it is more than just food. HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all!!!! And for our friends in other countries that don't celebrate this holiday, have a great day, and I am Thankful for knowing you and sharing with you on this site.

Thankee, and Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

My boss is also an old friend and they always invite me over for Thanksgiving when they're in town and I'll be going over there in a little while with a chocolate pecan pie. I don't have much family left and the closest is over 100 miles away and being 10 years older, I think my bosses' family has "adopted" me, sort of.

My friends being mostly scattered around the world, I'll be extending my Thanksgiving next week when I travel to Kentucky to visit with a largish group - they're planning for me to cook.

Aye, life is very good and I have plenty to be thankful for.

    Happy Thanksgiving, friends.
I just got the X-mas stuff down and the tree up. I'll decorate over these next four days.
    Much to be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving all. We had a really nice day with my girl friend and her kids, a boyfriendish man, and my kids. After we ate every one seemed to enter a corny joke contest, then my friend got out his guitar and I played my fiddle.

See, even in a damp cabin in the middle of Alaska, bacon wrapped dates and flowers dress the place up.
