    Default Winter Wilderness Survival Exercise

My first post, but come packing video I'm newer to the survival aspect an have been learning as much as I can. The only real way to know if what you have learned works is to do it. The Winter Contingency is a late fall early winter survival exercise to see if we have what is needed to survive a night in the woods if need be..

    Enjoy!

I am surprised that the link has been left up for this long on a first post.

Speaking of winter survival, I need to turn up the thermostat, it's getting chilly.
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?

sourdough -35 is very cold. have been in that once or twice. Would not want to survive with this gear in that weather!

The software does that automatically until you have more than 10 posts.

Two questions: What sidearm are you sporting? What software are you running that allows dual camera editing??

Soon it will be cold enough to grow a beard ;-) You guys should look into cross country skiing! A neat and effective way of moving in the winter. Provided you have snow of course:-)

I see alot of mention of me.
I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.

Most software will let you do 2 track editing allowing for 2 camera angles to be edited. the problem is most only allow the 2. That makes it hard for titles and sound overlays. Right now I'm using Pinnacleal Studio 16 as it allows for unlimited tracks and will edit all my file typed without having to convert them. It does an ok job. I prefer another program but end up spending days coverting fite types.

My sidearm is a Tauras 709. More for people than animals and I was trying to save weight. Kane's was a XD9.
