    Default got my mojo back

So about 12 to 18 months ago i lost my desire to play in the bush. Let me qualify this by saying i pretty much live in the bush, as that is where the homestead is, i have been more focused on the immediated acreage surrounding the house and barn, also training SAR tech students and going on active searches it just turned into work and no fun. Even several calls and e-mails from Allen "Bow" Beauchamp has failed to get me motivated to get out and play.
Enter today, I was out with the turkeys when i hear gunshots, sounded like from the other side of the valley but none the less my property, so i suit up and head out, i get to the back side of the mountain and find quad tracks, so i start tracking to find where this offender has come from. About 5 km later i find where he ahs come across the tracks and unloaded his quad, well mystery solved i will head home and keep an eye out, maybe have to get some more walk abouts in.
Well this is where the fun started, i decided to go off trail and head to the top of the hills and follow the ridge back a way i have not been before, as i head to the base i find a 10 acre beaver pond/ swamp with 200ft cliffs on the one side, absolutley beautiful, i had no idea this was so close to me, i have been alll around this area and not seen this gem, then i came across and old feild probably 20-30 acre full of wild edibles, lots of prickely thorn (berries) lots of milkweed and mullien and others, a gem of a spot. Now i know there is beaver in this pond with all the trails they have made, i fugure turtles and maybe small fish, i have so much anticipation to get back out and explore, finally... finally feel alive again.
The bottom line for all of you here is that i stopped posting cuz i have nothing new to offer, that has changed. Time to play again.

Sometimes you get more out of it when you walk away and then circle back. Gives you perspective.
