A.L.I.C.E. Hybrid.

I just recently bought this off of E-Bay and got it Friday. It's an original medium A.L.I.C.E. pack and frame but with a M.O.L.L.E. set of straps and kidney pad!

Elsewhere on this forum somebody started a thread on repairing the straps on an A.L.I.C.E. pack, which is very good to know. However, if you can't do that for whatever reason, then you can also "upgrade" the straps and waistbelt onto the pack frame as shown here.

Right on sarge47 I did much the same thing, found a set of new surplus molle shoulder straps and belt in three color desert (still in plastic bag) at the surplus store, I believe I paid about $50.00 for the both, turned my alice rig into a whole new pack, went back and bought another set for my old CampTrails freighter frame, good stuff.!
